On March the 14tfh 2014 the commissioning of the solar power from the roof of Clock Building will be inaugurated, 5th window into the downtown life of Savoie Technolac. The event brought together fifty partners and elected officials.
This solar power project is innovative because it is only a brick of a larger redevelopment project of the building clock, especially related to sealing, put in place after a complex energy audit.
Solar power on the roof of the building of the Clock is:
- 28T CO2 saved per year is equivalent to the consumption of 30 homes excluding heating.
- A project in short circuit because the use of local materials and skills was a structuring element of choice of partners (PV Panels: Photowatt).
